Femme Therapy – Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments are accepted, processed, authorized, secured, and refunded for orders placed on femmetherapy.com. It should be read together with our Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy. (Femme Therapy)

1) Secure Checkout & Payment Processing

Femme Therapy uses Shopify’s secure checkout. Payment details are processed by Shopify and/or Shopify’s payment partners and are handled through encrypted checkout technology. (Femme Therapy)

To help prevent fraud and unauthorized use, orders may be subject to automated security screening. If we cannot verify payment details or order legitimacy, we may cancel the order and refund any captured funds back to the original payment method. (See Section 8.) (Shopify Help Center)

2) Accepted Payment Methods

At checkout, we support major global payment methods, including (availability may vary by device, browser, and country):

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Other card schemes displayed at checkout (e.g., Diners Club, Discover, JCB, where enabled) (Femme Therapy)

Important: The payment methods shown in your checkout are the only methods available for your specific session/order.

3) Currency, Pricing, and Checkout Totals

  • Prices on the website are shown in AED (Dhs.). (Femme Therapy)
  • Shipping and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout and displayed before you place your order. (Femme Therapy)
  • If your card/account is in a different currency, your bank/card provider may apply foreign exchange conversion and fees (these are outside our control).

 

4) Payment Authorization vs. Capture

When you place an order, your payment method may be:

  • Authorized (a temporary hold), and then
  • Captured/charged (finalized) immediately or later depending on the payment method/provider and our payment settings. Shopify supports both authorization and capture flows, and timing can vary by provider/method. (Shopify Help Center)

Your order is not confirmed until payment is successfully authorized (and, where applicable, captured).

5) Dropshipping Fulfillment & Split Shipments

Because orders are shipped from overseas fulfillment partners, items in the same order may ship separately. Payment is still processed based on your checkout order total unless otherwise stated at checkout. (Femme Therapy)

6) Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import duties/taxes/fees charged by the destination country. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in product price or shipping unless explicitly stated at checkout. (Femme Therapy)

7) Discounts, Promo Codes, Gift Cards, and Store Credit

  • Promo codes (if offered) must be applied at checkout and cannot be added after an order is placed.
  • If gift cards/promotional vouchers are offered, their use is subject to the terms shown at purchase/checkout.
  • Items purchased using promotional discounts may be refunded only according to our Refunds/Returns/Cancellations Policy.

(For reference: gift cards/promotional vouchers are listed as non-returnable unless damaged/defective on arrival where proven, per your refund rules.)

8) Failed, Reversed, or Flagged Payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, or is flagged by the payment provider for security reasons:

  • We may request updated payment details, or
  • We may cancel the order (especially if verification cannot be completed).
    If we cancel after payment capture, we will refund back to the original payment method (timing depends on provider). (Femme Therapy)

9) Recurring or Deferred Purchases (If Offered)

If any product is offered as a recurring or deferred purchase option (for example, a subscription plan or scheduled charge), the checkout/product page will display the price, frequency, and applicable cancellation terms. By proceeding, you authorize charges according to those displayed terms until the order is fulfilled or you cancel (where cancellation is permitted). (Femme Therapy)

10) Cancellations (Payment Impact)

You may request to cancel your order within two (2) hours of placing it for a full refund. After two hours, the order may already be in processing and cancellation may not be possible. (Femme Therapy)

11) Refunds (How You’ll Be Paid Back)

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. (Femme Therapy)

  • We aim to process approved refunds within 10–20 days from the date of approval. (Femme Therapy)
  • After we process the refund, your bank/card issuer/payment provider may require additional time to post the funds. (Femme Therapy)

12) Billing Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us first via the website Contact page with:

  • Order number
  • Billing name/email
  • Amount charged and date
  • Screenshot or proof of charge (if available)

Initiating a chargeback with your bank/payment provider may delay resolution while the provider investigates.

13) Policy Updates

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time. The version published on femmetherapy.com at the time of your purchase will apply to your order. (Femme Therapy)
